The advent of the Internet has made the sharing of information so much easier. This includes digital information like music and movies. Many people have taken advantage of this to share music and video without paying for it.
Is this appropriate, let alone legal? What should we be doing to educate our kids in this matter? Is it even possible to stop? Should we care?

I'm not aware of the legalities of downloading music but what I do know is that artists are suffering because of easy access to their music which is alot easier to download off "Aries", "Kazaa" than to buy it in the stores. Is it fair to do this? If it was illegal, then it would not be possible for us to download it. Is it fair? No, its not fair to those individuals who choose to make a living out of it. There is definately a caution when downloading music because computers become vulnerable to viruses, spyware, bugs, etc.. This is a problem that needs to be addressed with ourselves and our children. It is so simple to 'ruin' our hard-drives with viruses because they have the capabilities to 'shut down' our computers. Teach your children to be safe when using these different types of programs, they could problems in the future to your computers. It is possible to legalize it, I'm sure of it, but knowing the exact steps to make this possible, is completely up to the music executives that are in the business. I think its important to consider all of the aspects of what is legal and what is fair! Don't make it so excessible, is maybe a solution to this problem because I view it as a problem!
I don't think it appropriate, I just think its a convinience, where people don't have to spend so money on a particular song, meaning why buy a cd for one or a couple songs when you can just download it. However there is a downfall downloading music, you can also download some of the things that you may not want on computer, adware, virus's, bugs, spyware, etc. The fact is that its there and is just much easier to get music.
The only thing we can teach our children about downloading music is that they we shouldn't allow them because it is illegal. Although in Canada, it is legal to download copyrighted music from peer to peer networks, but it's illegal to download their files. In the U.S. you can get up to three years in prison and a fine up to $250,000. It is very impossible to try and stop people from downloading because they don't want to pay the extra costs in buying CD's from stores. Someday, we are not going to be able to do anything on the internet, because everything will have a high price. Our businesses are losing a lot of money over downloading music and movies. Also, downloading free music can give you problems with your computer. Always be aware of new viruses.
Is downloading music appropriate? I suppose that would all depend on what world view its looked upon. For the artist it is a loss of revenue but I would hardly consider them to be suffering. Last I saw on entertainment tonight there not eating at the soup kitchen nor does it appear they will either. I wonder just what is the percentage of sales goes to the artist? The recording companys propably loose more, as I'm willing to bet they rake in the greater percentage of revenue. If all paid for there music would the price go down? I wish gas could be downloaded from the internet. I'd feel no guilt in getting as much free gas as I could totally guilt free. The issue of right or wrong is an ever ending delema for this new mode of communication and sharing of information, so again I say is society always willing to ignored risk for prosperity.
No it is not appropriate, but it is widely accepted.I feel it is more of a grey market type situation, technically it is stealing, but everyone is doing it. Most people feel they are just borrowing from a faceless organization, so nobody gets hurt, and most time I feel they are right. Except when big business flexes its muscle and decides to make an example of someone. Singling someone out and force the authoriies to press charges against them.
Most of the time I just turn a blind eye when one of my sons download digital content.
I don't know what to think about downloading music ,theres so many sites to download for free, never asks for money in return. I do not think its fair to the musicians but also the musicians get paid enough with their records to share with their fans. Metallica sued Napster for downloading their songs, that is when alot of things changed with the whole music industry.I download music make Cd's for my car not realizing if it was wrong or not. I know it saves people alot of money when they charge so much these days. Everything has gone up including watching movies in theatres,so people download movies online. cheaper and faster.see what you can do at home without ever even leaving, soon all industries will be taking over by easy access to anything you want online and for free.
I know my son downloads music and even movies in his computer. If this is illegal then why do we have this access? I enjoy his music and I have made cd's myself. I know some songs do contain viruses and they can crash your computer, maybe we should not download music or even movies. I will have to talk to my son about this.
Yes Downloading Music is appropriate beacuase it's nice to have you can find any song you wanna hear and plus it's illegal.People rather download songs other then going to the store's and buying albums that are worth 25$
I'm kind of half way on this one. I download music off the net all the time. Why? It' svery convenient for me to just go on the net and listen to the song I want instead of buying the whole album. As far as the legitamit part of it I always thought of it as harmless.
I do think it is a little unfair to the artists that thier music is being put out there for free. Record sales are not as high as they used to be and this being the main reason why.
Kids should be educated in the matter because soon artist will be discouraged to even make music. We should care because what would we do in this world with no music. If it is not stopped then maybe one day music will be a thing of the past.
I don’t think its something to worry about if you child id downloading music its noting compared to the criminal master minds out there. One thing that kids should be educated about is the harmful virus out there that comes along with downloading music of videos. If my child had a problem that I though was inappropriate when downloading music I would introduce them to I tunes cards. In which dl music becomes safe and easy! Searching music is way easier and you can view the song before you download it. You can also download albums and its way cheaper then going out and buying an album at a store. I tune cards can be bought for 20 dollars or 50 dollars. Then it protects your computer.
After tonight's class I do feel it is not appropriate to download music. I never really put much thought into it before. I am not one to download music anyway but for the people who do, it might be hard to stop now. I knew it was illegal but did not think of the implications, especially since not much action is being taken towards the persons responsible.
As a parent I can teach my child that downloading music and movies is illegal, and is infringing on copyright laws while see is young. That way see will grow up with that concept. Other wise it will a constant battle, the older a child gets the harder it is to mold a child into one with values and morals. I think it is important to show children that something that may seem trival has importance too. As role modelswe should teach them that we should stand up for what we believe.
I am away from home this week so I missed class tonight, but I still wanted to put my two cents.
Anyone and everybody has downloaded music over the years. For personal use or for parties/receptions. When you want a collage of music from different eras then downloading was the easiest place to get them.
Eventually it will not be tolerated and we will have to pay which I think is the way it should be.
All I can say is BOOHOO to the musicians, so sorry that they are loosing money and have to live just below their comfort zone of one million a year or what ever outrageous amount that is! while welfare moms struggle to feed their children. If I had high speed apposed to dial up, I too would down load music and not feel guilty about it one bit. Is it wrong? is it illegal? the answer if yes to those getting ripped off, but no to those tired to pay outrageous prices. The question we should ask is, is it wrong that a whole collage dorm in the States was arrested for it, while companies
get a slap on the wrist for dumping toxic waste!!!
from the very beggining i knew that the file sharing of music was illegal. what i did not know is that they are starting to go after people for lawsuites. i dont download music personally because some of the quality is not that great, but i do purchess music and up load it to my pc, so i can use it for my i pod, and the quality is great. now i f i was a recording artist i would br upset that my wallet is short a few million because of people downloading files and not paying for them.i also believe that these companies need to find ways to ensure that music files cant be sent throught there websites, these companies should be responsible and liable for musicians who own the music and the copy writes to the lyrics.
From the veiw point of the piriter, sure I think it is a great means to get music. Am I aware of what it is doing to the music industry, yes, but I guess its hard to concider the reproacustions, since they directly affeect me. Now, movies and music I feel differenly about. With a musician, its personal. They bleed their hearts and souls into the music they write, its an extension of themselves, the universal langugage, both solo and group inclined music. Movies makers tho, may have long hours, and lack of privacy, but they are extremly over paid!! They barley even have to know their lines untill the day of the secne they are shooting. Most have stunt doubles so they dont hurt their prescious selves, and I think it a joke. Don't get me wrong, I love movies, and I realize it ytakes more that who's on screen to make it happen but are they making too much- I think so.So is dowloading music appropriate?? No, it isn't. Do I do it?, Yes I do. There are pros to music online, for example, exposure. An upcoming band may only have the inteenet to get there sound heard. If dowloading music online was banded, I would still purchase music, and still do today. Movies however, not soo sure,Im never satified, and I find it unresonalby overpriced.
I'm not sure if downloading is illegal, but I'd much rather download a song that waste 20 bucks on a cd and I only like one or two songs. If they don't want us to download then they should just remove the programs that give us this access...
I suppose downloading music and movies online is illegal, I know my children are guilty of doing so but everyone likes free stuff, I mean who doesn't like freebies? Expecailly if the person is going to be saving some bucks. The artists are the ones who lose out but we all see the lives they are living.
Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I actually bought a CD for myself. I don’t see anything wrong with it and don’t think it is inappropriate, even though it is considered illegal. People would rather download free from the internet than paying for music and movies.
I think we should care because it does affect the music and film industry but doesn’t look like these actors and artist are suffering very much because of it. At this moment I don’t think there is anything we can do about it right now; its something that is right there in front of our faces; just a click away. I do download music and I do not intend to stop anytime soon.
I feel that downloading music is not safe for some computers because with my experience with my children, they were always downloading music, we always got viruses and finally the computers crashed.I think we went through 3 or 4 computers but since they have been gone we have had this one for a longer time than the others. So I don't think downloading is appropriate safety wise. I know there are alot of other reasons why we shouldn't download such as legal reasons but from my experience I feel my reason is significant enough.
Should we or shouldn't we? That is the big question when it comes to downloading music. No I don't think it's okay, the artists are loosing out and if I created something I wouldn't want others to take it without my permission. This is not legal, I have taken professional developments on this very subject and the kids at school are verse in this subject. I don't think its possible to stop there are too many people out there to "police", but if we get the idea that this is not appropriate and that it is illegal into our children then maybe the future of illegal downloads will start to diminish.
I personally have found this resourse very usefull and fun. Music at no expense available at your fingertips. It's great!
A threat to your pc's system maybe, but I havn't encountered any serious problem's with that.
I think the only people that it would bother are the artist's who lose profit from the public not purchasing there album's. Or in downloading video's, I'm sure there are some people that object to having there privacy violated. In educating kid's, I think it would be good to teach them about spending there cash wisely and that if there is an artist that they truly support to just buy there album and that way they are giving support to there career.
Of course, people will take advantage of downloading music and videos if it's available, it's beyond their control that such thing was available on the net in the first place, However, it's never appropriate to take something or do something that is illegal. In order to educate our kids in this matter or any matter is that it all goes back to the home..how our kids are raised at home about their values, morals, and beliefs. If a child is taught that it's okay to steal then it's ok to take something that doesn't belong to you or if a child is taught that stealing or taking someone else's possesion is not okay then they grow up learning that this is not appropriate. I think it would be possible to stop, if Bill Gates can set something up like this than I'd imagine he could put an end to it. Should we care? Well, there are people that do care and people that don't, but it only takes one person to make a difference, so, if people would put themselves into the singers/actresses shoes and see where they are coming from, then, maybe they will care.
Great discussion everyone...there are no right/wrong answers...in this age of participatory web in all forms, there will be little technically that would be able to prohibit illegal activities.... like pedophiles sharing child porn, we just won't be able to stop it all.
The challenge will be to educate our young people (and older people too!) so that they are at least making decisions with knowledge...it's like putting up speed limits on the highways...at least you know the expectations, after that it is your choice to follow (or not) the rules...
Keep the conversations flowing!
"Is downloading music appropriate?"
No I dont believe it's appropriate but I do enjoy the music I like to download. How do I stop my kids from doing it and myself? I guess the reason I like it so much is because I dont have to pay for it and its convenient. I dont think its fair that I can download a cd and not pay for it and the artist and the music industry have and will continue to suffer because of free downloads.
It’s probably neither appropriate nor legal, but it is sure convenient. Our kids need to know about the moralities, but it will not stop them. They are digital natives after all. Eventually though, I believe the music and movie industries will have more control. The loss of revenues cannot be sitting well with the recording companies. Should we care? Gee that’s a tough one. We have all been raised with a certain degree of morals. Surely the rich and famous have worked hard to get where they are. Ok, maybe not all of them. But it seems difficult to care if they loose a few bucks when they are multimillionaires. I wonder, do "they" even care?
"Is Downloading Music Appropriate?"
I'm sure all of us know people or have done it ourselves, but downloading music is supposed to be illegal, but still nothing is being done about it. It is not fair to the music industry especially the artists. We can teach our children that it is wrong do be downloading music and that they will have to pay the consequences if they get caught for doing so!
In the eyes of the law downloading videos and music is considered pirating and anything pirating is considered illegal, so I guess the answer would be yes, it is illegal to download videos and music. Personally, I don’t see the harm in burning a few cds. Yeah, I know that were hurting artist, songwriters, record labels, but if they would offer another solution such as in store burning I’d be willing to pay a small fee. As for movies, I’m not much into that as the quality is poor and I’d rather wait for the release.
Well, Downloading Music and Movies is illegal and is thought of to be stealing, I think it is inappropriate to steal from people who work hard to come up with their songs or movies, we should at least pay them for it, even though it would be easier to not pay for it. There really isnt much we could teach our kids about it, because it's so easily accessable, and everyone is doing it, we could maybe tell them that it's stealing and it's wrong. I don't think that this would be easy to stop,I don't think it would be possible. Well, we could care, because we don't want our children to be stealing. It's just not the biggest thing we should be worried about with the newer technology coming out.
Anything that is eleagal is innapropriate, but the web makes it so easy, its hard not to. Yes individuals have to be more aware of the viruses that comes with it, but it's a chance there obviously taken. It's really taken its tool on the artist cause in the end they'll be the ones who will suffer from this.
I have no problems with downloading mucic, We have been ripoff by having to pay 25 dollars for a cd back in the day. I live in a one horse town, we don`t even have a music shop anymore, we have to get our music at walmart or Zellers, and if its not top 40 you are shit out of luck. I listen to alot of independant music and I like to listen to live verson. You can`t get that in the stores. Music is a passion and if I wasn`t able to download music I would be stuck getting my music from the radio or Muchmusic, which is a horrible station these days if you ask me. If people are real fans of the artist they like to will buy their CD`s. Why buy a cd if you only like one song.
I really don't know what to say about this topic because I don't know anything about it. If it was illegal, then maybe the "cyber" cops should have stopped all the tools that we can use to download music, movies, games, etc.
It would be really hard to stop children from downloading because they are so computer smart, that everytime you delete things, they will just re-download the tools that they need. If I really knew the laws againts all these things, then I would defintely let my children know that is wrong and that there are consenquences to their downloading actions, or uploading, what ever the case maybe.
I download music, so for me i think its okay!Instead of buying a cd where i'd only like a song or two,i can just download it for free and not have to worry about wasting my money from time to time. It's also easier when wanting a mix cd for the road.all you have to do is burn a cd with all the songs that you like!
I really don't know if it's appropriate or not, people are still doing it! I know it's cheaper for people who love all kinds of people. Personally I think going to a music/record store is not really happening anymore.
Well I dont think it should be legal how we get music for free on the internet. We should respect the artist's work and go out and purchase their album. The artist's work should be respected.
I don't see why downloading music is inappropriate! Everything on the internet is free, for sharing, and for everyone to see. I imagine that all the places one goes to download music (I personally don't do it) will eventually be either monitored, shut down or charge for each song that you download, like Napster was a few years ago. We will continue doing it until something else comes along.
I agree that it is risky to download the music, you can download viruses and whatnot that can harm your computer. This you have to be very careful about, using up-to-date virus protection and ensuring that it is enabled.
CD makers are now imposing a charge to cover some of the expenses. This is one way they are recovering their money, I'm sure they will find ways, either through charging extra $$ for cd's, or through legislation.
Right now anyone can download anything like photo's, files, and more.. If I can download free well I'd use it. I save money without buying a cd.. which is great.. If it is offered I take that advantage.. It is appropriate when it is available .. The artists are the ones that are suffering...
"Is Downloading Music Appropriate?" No. Coming from a family of musicians and artist – I find any form of plagiarism, downloading music, movies, downloading is inappropriate. More because I see the value and the effort that directors, movie producers, writers, and musician’s put into their work. And I also see that we need to support these efforts to encourage the artsy occupations. I know that teens do this a lot, and not really thinking of the effect or impact he/she might have because of the illegal downloading of music/video. I think we have the “everybody does it” attitude when it comes to illegal downloading of music. When we would never allow our children to walk into SAMS or Future Shop and allow them to walk our with a DVD or a CD without paying. It’s the same thing – Just a different path!
I feel that downloading is probibly illegal, but everyone is doing it, this is a fast and easy way to get all your favorite songs that you want on one cd. I use to do it when my girls were still living at home because they did it all the time. Now I don't go on the computer much, just to do my homework and i wouldn't know were to go to download music anyway i'm also still on dial-up so it would take forever. It also saves people alot of money, when you go to the store to purchase a cd you end up paying alot of money for just one or two good songs.
We all know that downloading music is illegal..but why would it be so easy to get access to it, if were not allowed to download it. I know that in Canada thier isn't a law yet formed but what are we suppose to do? People all know that if it's free well of course we are going to download it. I know that we are very vulnerable to different types of viruses and hackers but yet we do it. Purchasing cd's now a days has dropped significantly because of this. Is it fair to the Artists? I have to say "no" it isn't, but this is what happens with the Internet. Hopefully, someday they will have a way to make everything we do on the internet impossible so that our children can't get access to it.
Legal or not! how can we control it? Talking to your children is great start, explaining and showing them the right way to download is what we should be doing. I think that downloading is the new way to creating mixed cd's. We have all come from an era mixing music on blank tapes.. this is the same but new way to share music. We need to be honest with our children and teach me right from wrong.
The massive download of music, movies and other forms of digital media without paying for it is a human challenge created by human technology. Copyright interests are based on the notion of private property laws that some would suggest, may be contrary to the realities of the 21st century information sharing generation. The music and movie industry has spent tons of money for many years defending their interests. What it amounts to is this, do they have an interest and what is the extent of that interest?
This challenge is not unique to the music and movie industry, but extends further to include almost anything that has been humanly created. Technology included. This interest is governed by a federal legislative policy that in the present day is part of a larger discussion involving international copyright laws, and the whole big question of ownership. Ownership is a critical element in the big picture as it overlaps on other elements like human rights. A good example is The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples which was adopted in 2007 by international consensus, but rejected by Canada, the US and Australia. One of the sticking points, the question of ownership.
Each and every day someone’s interest is being violated. Some just have to live with it I guess, while others have what they need to make their objections heard.
Whether we should care or not about the download of music and movies is seemingly a matter of perspective. In the big picture, it shouldn’t matter who you are, nobody wants to have their rights infringed upon or their interests ignored. Do Canada's copyright laws reflect fairness and protection for all? The answer is no. Should we care? My thoughts for the day.
Oh, just another thought.
Have you ever heard anyone in Canadian society complain about the tons of fake native art being imported into this country from China, Taaiwan and Japan? Not likely. They call this free trade.
Does society care or even consider the many Indigenous artists that are inappropriately and legally being ripped off?
Is down loading music appropriate?
I dont think it is. cause the music industries lose money. But also it is a medium to get your name out there. Free or not...If you have to pay for the music all the time to own it or listen to it, your music will not be bought. Once again to due think it also equal out the playing feild for the customer. For example, I remember when I was younger and would by a lot of tapes for all the music groups out there. Well Alot of times you bought a tape or Album that had only one good song and the rest were fillers. Now, The customer just has to download one song rather then buying the whole CD. Therefore is also keeps the artist and Recording companies on there toes to go guality work.

NO! Illegally downlaoding music is definitly wrong. People commiting this crime of devising sites to download music off the internet should be charged with an appropreiate fine. And for all thoese who disagree, put yourself in the artists shoes, they are the people who work hard, they are the people who pocess this tatlent. Lots of peoples hard work, time and money go into these songs and If I were an artist coming out in the near future I would have a big chunk of my budget going into some kind of technology that blocks hackers from getting a hold of my music and making it avaible for the people of the world free of charge.
Down loading movies and music off the internet is legal if it’s done through certain programs such as: MIRC, Sharebare etc. Although, it can be legal if done properly, downloading music that is. You can download music from itunes which is legal. Movies, I am don’t know too much about that. What I do know is that there are individuals that go to the movies, and record them in the theater and post them on the internet for others to download them. I do not know if there is a profit being made by doing this. I know that its not the best quality getting movies off the internet. Personally I don’t do it. I don’t download music either. It’s not one of my interests. Should we talk to our children to try and prevent it. Sure we can, but I do not think that prevention will stop individuals from downloading music or movies. The music and movie business is what suffering, I am not sure if it can be stopped. Unless the sites to download music and movies are blocked.
I don't think that we have to worry so much about people downloading music or movies. If the Record companies and the entertainment business was getting so hurt by this you think they would still leave it happen?
Downloading music and videos has become an epidemic. Even when blocks are put in place, another avenue is created that bypasses all that. No matter how we try to justify our reasons for doing it, we know it’s wrong yet we still continue to do it. On another note, cd’s sales are still going platinum and in spite of everything, money is being made. We still go to the movies because nothing can compare to watching it on the big screen. Why do we download? Different strokes for different folks…some may say why pay to watch the movie if it only turns out it wasn’t very good to begin with. It’s great when you can view it free before deciding to buy it and why buy the whole cd when you only like just the one song. As for educating our children, that’s a tough one to say without sounding hypocritical…we could just say, “Do as I say and not as I do!”. Good luck on that one!!!
I think it can be appropriate if the child or adult use it the proper way...and that is buying on the proper sites $0.99 is only alittle of a fraction compared to to thousands or millions that you can be fined for...also learning of the bad affects of spyware and viruses that can be attached to files when sharing free music.
Up the prices of the CD's and solve the problem, I would have no problem buying a blank CD for the costs of a regular CD if I could put my own songs on it.
At least I would have a CD where i could listen to more than two songs that i enjoyed.
In case you haven't seen cribs I don't think any music artists is suffering, I think they are making up for their money from the sales of CD's by raising the price of their concert tickets....they find a way to make their money back from the loss of sales.
Watch "CRIBS" and witness the suffering of the artists for yourself.
Once again we are faced with a moral decision. I can see why it s like stealing. cause you are getting a product and not paying for it. Therefor the artist are hurting. I myself, belong to Thunder Eagle Singers, See that as a lose of profits. But on the other hand. Its a way of getting our music out there. Getting our songs heard, When there would never ever be a chance for us to make it out in the main stream. Therefore there is a lot of other serious artist now able to get heard then they never had a chance in the past. Due the market bring own buy the big recording studios and promotion companies. SO in a sense it evens the play field for the little guy or the person not will to sell out. To me it like magic. Its always seeking new ways to amaze people. Now Artist have to find other ways to make the money. Concerts and other money making ideas, not just rely on the sales of Cd's. I do know that an artist will be upset when they create the best song in the world and want all the royalties to it, however once you share it with the world. The world will take it and it a cruel world out there.

My initial thoughts about downloading were that if it’s online and I can download it for free then it must not be illegal. I never really consider downloading to be an illegal act. But after talking about it in class it made me think twice about it. I think that it is unfair to those who make the music because they are not getting any monetary recognition for their work. I think we should educate our kids by letting them know that it is in fact illegal act and that there can be consequences for doing so. But I’m not sure that it is possible to stop because there are so many programs out there that you share free files with anyone.
Well its hard for me to comment on this one because at a time or two I have been guilty of it myself. I see people downloading music daily and I know its wrong and yes it takes away money from the artists, but latley artists take a look at the downloads being made as success in away they seem to measure their success by they're number of downloads. I am not against it I think that it is the person with the computer's choice whether or not they want to allow it on their computers. As far as school, music downloading programs should be blocked and for parents its up to you!
I don't see anything wrong with down loading music, OK I do sometimes download. But really one has to think who is getting ripped-off here. Music stores or the people who make the music? I had to stop because I think that it was doing something to the computer.I think that since we pay for a computer and high speed that we or anyone can have use to this. It might not be ok with the artist but its there and free to the people. what harm could be done.
I think downloading music is not appropriate, but its free and lets face it people like free stuff, what people dont realize it that that its effecting the music industry, what can we do about it, stop downloading music......as if ...we all do it....its free
Lots of people download music because its free and saves money.I really dont think its fair for the artist but there's not much they can do about it,even if they do try and put a stop to it there are lots of other sites that are offering free downloads.I used to download music alot but i found it slowed down my computer and i got viruses, you can now download and pay for it.Instead of downloading I just go on youtube and listen to the song on there.I find it is unfair for the artist, they wont make as much money because not to many people are going to the stores to buy there c.d's,but there could be a good side of downloading because if there is so many people out there downloading there music they are being heard. So this will give the artist publicity and they can make money from there concerts, selling merchandise, and going to events and getting paid for being there.
Im not so sure that donwloading music is legal or illigal. If it's so bad why would they even do it.Im pretty sure a lot of people do it and are still doing it without getting into trouble for it.
I feel that this problem will take along time to solve. I also feel that in a way artist are feeling like there material is being stolen but I also feel that they are being a bit greedy they already make enough money. Some artist feel that just having people download thier music in honour enough because people are listening to their music. All in all, I feel this problem will never be solved people will find more ways to get the music for free.
It is without a doubt illegal. If you are not paying for it, you shouldn't have it. Last term 2007, I had a 60 day trial period for Microsoft professional 2007. Well, my finale paper was due and when I had started to write the finale product on computer, I had no access to it. What do I do, its due for the next day and deduction thereafter if not submitted.
So what do I do, do I download it without paying for it (My friends do it) or pay the 800.00$. Being the honest person that I am, I paid the 800.00 and some dollars to download the product. That was some expensive term paper I have ever did.
People would say that is crazy and ridiculous to pay that amount of money. But people do get caught for stealing software and illegally downloading music. If I want to continue to have a clean criminal record and not jeopardize my chances as becoming a teacher, downloading illegally right now would definitely hamper all future prospects.
