I am excited! I am going back to school again, but it's all so totally different for me: the structure, the screen, the mics, and the whole new technology. I feel a little insecure but I'm also open to it. 'Not so Distant Education' here I come!
Yes Wendy, Let's go blogging, it seems to be the in thing to do in this new age of high tech. Let's blog before blogging goes obsolete.

I think technology can be a bit overwhelming and on high demand ,more people need more acess to computers, not all can afford them. I lov eit myself I do all my things like online banking and keep in contact with family and friends through MSN and facebook. One thing I don't know if what will happen if it all starts crashing down ,our whole lives are on computers nowadays,,What do you thing bloggers?

Technology is great! I use it everyday at work and at home. But what happens when the power goes out????

The classnotes ask this question for discussion:

Is technology a necessary evil or a powerful tool for education?

Is this where we discuss?

Yes seventeen1717, I think this is the place where we can discuss that matter! But on top of that we also have to blog in to our BLOGS 2xs a week. I think Technology is a powerful tool for education... as long as the instructors can be up to par with the technology and make use of the world wide web...and so, the next question is: are educators prepared? Are they learning through new tecnology, learning about technology, and are they learning to use it in order to implement it in their lessons. Are the schools prepared to integrate technology into all lessons/classrooms. Given time, it can happen, but it starts with the Instructors... after all it is a learning tool.

Hi, Iam a kindergarten teacher who loves her job, that is why I feel I need to up grade myself and keep in touch with the times. I feel that even the young children are learning more at a faster pace. Learning comes in many forms and aspects. Children are more interested in whats in front of them, like their toy for example, which are all or mostly made with the technology that we didn't have growing up. I want to start feeling more comfortable with technology, so Ican always teach with the ease and passion the children have towards it. Well, bye for now.

I go into phases with technology, somethings I get really into some cool stuff then I get bored with it, like my blackberry, It is way to advance for me, I got it because I got a really good deal with it, so I thought. I didn`t know anything about it. I have the old version. The new blackberrys have videos, music and pics. I got swindle lol. I`m just going to wait until next year to get a new one. Every year they come out with something better and smaller. Other technology I use today, are website building programs, and music programs to dowload music. Online coaching sites, smartboard.

My wife wants me to get her a Wee, but I`m going to wait until the price comes down.

LOL However on Youtube you can see and experince any pow wow out there. blog blog blog. Its funny on how Jeff was saying that we need to return to story telling to teach our children....Once again our ancestors were way a head of us...and that without the tecnology. Make you think.

I have had quite a few back and forth thoughts about the privacy of my personal blog. I really don't feel that I need the whole wide world to share my thoughts. But I would like to share them with you, my classmates. I don't think there is a list of everyones e-mail addresses, so the only other way in to the blog is through an invitation. Send me your e-mail at akwiten@hotmail.com and I will gladly send you a personal invite. I tried to find your e-mail berni s, but it's not listed on your blogsite ??? or is it ??? hmmm... Woliwon, opc oc nomiyal.

Hi everyone out there in Cyber Space.I was wondering if anyone has some kind of technology to stop it from snowing.

Hollie said...

Technology, can't live without it! LOL.
I just got my pc fixed so I have the net back in my home, good timing for this course!

Technology is great, what I notice though is once I get the hang of something "they" come out with something different. For example I finally feel proficient in Windows XP now there is Vista. How can we keep up?

Tara said...

I think that technology is good, look at we are all doing with the course, if we didn't have technology it would have never been possible for me to leave my family and job. There is just so much for us to learn with technology.

I still need to know more things. Well good luck and play safe, hahaha

I think technology will be a big part of the future for medical success.

I love technology,it is the best thing that ever happen to us. It is useful in so many ways, like connecting with loved ones you don't see, or on-line banking instead of waiting in line at the bank...lol. Although it may not be useful in other ways, like it can't show you love and give you a hug, and you might not be safe...as my old fahioned me-me would say...lol.

As I am learning to use this BLOG I am getting frustrated because I really am having a hard time getting on, all the time and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I want to really learn and use it with ease. I know practice will make it better but this dial-up is really getting to me. Oh, weel bye for now.
